P i c t u r e s D o n t D o I t J u s t i c e

For those of you that know me & follow me on Facebook or Instagram you very well know that I LOVE to post pictures. Pictures to me capture a moment. Every time I look back on a picture I took I remember my emotions, how I was feeling when I was there, & how beautiful those moments really were. I find myself feeling the most thankful to be alive when I can enjoy nature & the beauty here on Earth. There are so many bad things & darkness in this world that try to take over, sometimes it feels like beauty is always hiding in the hardest places to find but the truth is the beauty all around us you just have to open your eyes to it.
Today I drove through trabuco canyon & began to observe how beautiful California's mountains really are. To me they have so much beauty to them because they just look so peaceful. Not only are our mountains beautiful but the canyons. So calm, full of dry brush, cactus, farms, empty land & horses minding their own.
Later today, I went to my favorite place in the world. The Ocean. No matter where in the world I am, if you take me to the ocean; I am home. My heart fills with joy when my toes touch the sand & I feel the salt in the air.
If you sit on the beach & look around at every person on the beach you will find that every one of those people are smiling & have a heart full of joy. They are happy & entirely enjoying their lives at that time. I believe the ocean brings out the best in people. It's peacefulness & beauty take away any pain, unhappiness, problem & then brings happiness, peace & beauty to other people. There is so much to be thankful for here on Earth! These pictures were taken to capture the beauty I saw today but these pictures will never do them any justice. Take a  minute to take a look around & see for yourself❤️
"May the sun bring you new energy by day, may the moon softly restore you by night, may the rain wash away your worries, may the breeze blow new strength into your being, may you walk gently thorugh the world and know it's beauty all the days of your life."

A d a m A n d r e O b i r e k

There are a million things that I could tell you about my husband but more than anything, HE IS MY WORLD! My husband became my best friend in May 2011. I think most people abuse the term " Best Friend " & most of the time they really don't understand what it means to have a best friend. To me having a best friend is having someone that you want to share everything with. No matter how big, small, fun, lame, inappropriate, sad, happy the story might be the first person you want to tell is them. Every event that you attend you wish they would be there to share it with you. Having a best friend means that you put them before yourself. You would do anything to make sure they are taken care of, loved enough, comfortable enough & always happy enough. Big news to them is big news to you. And that right there my friends, is how I knew that I had fallen in love with my best friend!
Adam & I went to High School together & graduated the same year. However, we never were great friends at all we just ran into each other at the same place & same time. After High School, Adam joined the military & got stationed on Camp Lejune, North Carolina. Summer 2011 I had planned to go there to visit my cousin & her husband who were stationed there as well. Adam & I talked & got to know each other for a few months before we finally had our first date at the Tim McGraw & Luke Bryan concert in Raleigh, North Carolina. Call me crazy, but we both talk about it now that we are married & we both say we knew after our very first date we weren't ever going to let each other go.
Many people have described our relationship as a free spirited because no matter what we are going through we are always smiling, adventuring, & supporting each other! I fell so deeply in love with Adam because he has really taught me how to smile even when I feel that theres no reason at all to smile. He has shown me that no matter what rough situations we go through together whether it be long distance, deployments, loneliness, or sadness in the end it will only make us stronger as a couple. We both have learned together that the most important things in life is to take EVERYTHING in life as a blessing. To really live happily you must live admiring God, admiring people, & admiring the earth. The last two & a half years together we have been to 10 different states, seen so many awesome places, done so many memorable things together, & made so many great connections with friends & family. We have also been separated many times by distance due to the Military. Right now we are going through our second deployment together but every time that we leave each other we tell each other that theres always something to look forward to, & that is to "ADVENTURE ON"!

“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."

“We know that these troubles produce patience. And patience produces character...”Romans 5:3-4

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails."- 1 Corinthians 13:

M y F i r s t P o s t

Im not really sure how I want to start my first blog or really how to use one but I was inspired to start my own after following many other blogs. Each story is different &  every life has a different journey. I hope you enjoy following my beautiful journey in life as much as I enjoy living it!
My name is Bree Obirek, formerly known as Bree Baquerizo. My sweethearts name is Adam. I am a wifey to the most amazing man that I could have ever prayed that God put into my life to spend forever with.  I am not just your ordinary wife, I am a United States Marine Corps wife.  The Marine Corps have provided many adventures in my life the last few years but I wouldn't change any of it for the world! I have lived 20 years of my life in Southern California then spent the last year on a whole new adventure in  Raleigh, North Carolina with my husband & a few of my family members.
I come from a HUGE family & I owe it all to them for the way I have been raised. My family is everything to me, I love ALL of them & I am so blessed to have such a great big one! I pray that one day God will bless my husband & I with our own little family of mini Obireks.
This world & this life is too beautiful to not admire. My goal in this blog is to inspire people to LIVE IN LOVE. Love life, Love People, Love God!
